I tried to repair one of my cushions with fabric available here in Poland but the effect is no good. Does anybody know where I can buy the same/similar fabric in the US?
Didn't your upholsterer checked the color with the existing one?
With a sample notice color differences can be easily noticed and as there are many different colors - with a sample you can look for the most close one.
Friendly spoken, you will never find the exact matching fabric.
Influences of the use, UV (even not direct exposed), dirt, and batch-differences in the fabric-treatment for the coloring are reasons that you will always see differences.
To my opinin there is only one option left....
He said it was the closest one he could find... but at least he just charged 30 eur for that.
I can live with this color difference but any information if this fabric is original one used by Catalina would be big help, on the invoice catalina yachts wrote "diplomat blue #2478 ultraleather".
