Greetings,
Before I remove my gauge box and look behind that, does anyone know where the bilge blower is locted on a 1993 C36. I have the MK1.5, the transitional C36 to the MKII.
Thank you and best regards,

I believe if you remove the engine instrument panel and the molded recess that it fits into - you'll find it there.

Thanks Gary Smith, I had checked several other locations with no luck and I will now try here.... Thanks for the reply. Once bilge blower is found I'll post info.
Before I remove the control panel I would look in the cabinet in the aft birth on the port side. I believe the blower is accessible through that opening.

Thanks Gary B, That's the first place I looked, with no luck, and you certainly would think the easiest to do maintenance for the bilge blower. Thanks for the reply
Did we figure this out? Just curious!

MitchMan,
We did not figure this out yet.... My boat comes goes on the hard for the winter in 6 weeks, I'll attack this problem then. When I remove the gauge panel box I positive I'll be replacing that as well as it will be all chipped up when done removing. I'll then post detailed instructions, including photos, of my efforts.
I hooked up a temp bilge blower to get by for the final weeks of being in the water.
Best regards,
Bill

I was cleaning out my cockpit locker and confirmed the blower location. Best access looks to be through the engine instrument mounting hole but may be reached by a very skinny person via locker. Pic shows inside of port side locker facing aft. Kind of blurry but blower can be seen aft and below of instrument panel mounted on wood block on hull.

Gary,
Thanks for the picture and finding the exact location of the bilge blower. I'll need to recruit my skinny nephew, he loves challenges like this.

Sorry to keep you all waiting on my results of the Bilge Blower Location/Replacement. Here's how It was replaced on Calypso:
I cleaned out the port cockpit locker as mentioned above in a post, laid a towel down on the base of the locker and slid in.
The replacement was relatively easy requiring the removal of 2 screws securing the old blower to a wood mount. Removing the intake & exhaust hose as well as the 12 VDC wires.
Make sure you install the new blower in the correct direction (there is an arrow on the side for air flow)Before securing the wires verify proper polarity to the DC blower via air exhausting out the bilge vent.
With a cleaned out locker this is a 15-30 minute project.
Fair winds,

For those with a MKII, the bilge blower is located in the port aft lazarette, aft corner, up high.
