Whispering Eye in St. Pete

Whispering Eye has finally arrived in St. Pete.  After a 4 year stay on a high mountain lake in TN (Watauga Lake), a 2 day truck trip with Leslie Transportation & Services, and 1 month at Elite Marine in Salt Creek for some much needed TLC, AC, and a visit from Gerry Douglas, she is now resting in her new slip at the St. Petersburg City Marina.

We will be down to visit at least once a month for 3 days to 2 weeks and hope to meet some Association members in the SW FL area.

Welcome to paradise.  We spent 3 years in Palmetto on the Manatee River and now 9 years on Charlotte Harbor at Burnt Store Marina.  Lots of great anchorages and terrific sailing in SW Florida.  We will probably be in your area for our annual spring cruise this April/May.  If you would like more information about this area and anchorages for your short term trips, contact me by PM.  I love to discuss recommendations with you.

Leslie transportation moved my Catalina 36 from Swansboro N.C. to Knoxville, TN.  I was very impressed with his service.
Congrats on the move and have fun in the "big pond"
