Sailing Blogs & WEBS

I was researching a way to provide information to family and friends as we sail south in the Baja Ha-Ha and came across a useful Blog site. Last night I gave it a try for a couple of hours, eventually forking over the $35 a year fee to get the more useful services including the ability to add photographs and a positions map. I did do a quick search for "Blogs" on the C36 site and see an entry from "Wind Dancer" who also used this site back in 2009. Anyone else who may be interested in doing some blogging about their sailing trips may find this site useful. Anyway, I have posted my link to show what a couple of hours worth of work can produce as I found the site intuitive, easy to use and to navigate around. Notice all the side links I have provided, including a link the C36 site.

Somewhere on the C36 site there is a link to Webs and Logs but have not found it yet, I will keep looking.
PS: If you look at the Baja Ha-Ha site we are #38 in this years list of entries.

I saw your blog the other day John, I will add it to the list of blogs I keep an eye on. Lots of good information comes from blogs.

Nice work. I can program and considered wordpress and joomla before deciding I did not want to spend time managing a WEB Domain, even though I own two and could use either.
I decided on Sailblogs as a quick and easy way out and have since found the site quite useful as I can look for other boats in my area or where my next stop will be and email them for information if needed. Other boats have contacted me for information as we cruised around the Sea of Cortez. We have expanded our list of cruising friends considerably this way.
