Hey Friends,

Had a quick question about the wiring of the bilge pump on our 2003 MKii.  Currently we're set up with the battery bank 1 as the starting battery and bank 2 as the house battery.  It seems the bilge pump is wired to bank 1 only, and only runs when I have the selector on batt 1.  

When away from the boat, I like to leave the bilge pump set to auto, but would prefer to not have my battery selector set to 1 so I can preserve my starting battery and not have any drain.

Not a big deal by any means, but was curious if others are set up the same way, and was this by design?
