Good day to all,
As the more or less vertical portlights fitted on the coachroof are pretty much cooked by 28 years of Mediterranean sunlight, I wished to renew the four of them but I realized soon that this old standard was out of "print" since 1998 (it is the unframed acrylic opening panel with two hinges and two catches). Does anyone has an idea about where to start searching? Thank you.

Lavrendios;
Several years ago we used these folks to find parts for an old hatch hinge. They had them in stock. https://hatchmasters.com/hatch-repair/ Also Catalina Direct may be able to offer you suggestions.

The factory still makes them. Mine is a 1993, and I just ordered 4 new ones from Catalina a couple of months ago for $150 each plus shipping. Just email parts@catalinayachts.com. The nice thing about getting them from the factory is they get that bevel just right, which is hard to do if you're trying to cut your own new ones.

I just re-read the original post, and realized I misunderstood what you were looking for. I thought you wanted to replace the large fixed deadlights, not the opening ones. The fixed ones are the ones I ordered from Catalina. I also replaced all of my opening port lenses as well. I got mine from Catalina Direct. I think they were $30 each or so. For the lenses in the deck hatches, I cut new lenses for those myself using the old ones as templates, with the exception of the V-berth hatch, which I had Hatchmasters refurbish for me. Apologies for my confusion on your original post.

Lavrendios. If yours are the 'old standard' as you say, I found it best, after a lot of wasted time and money, to just buy the 'new standard' and replace. I went through this last spring. I tried to just clean the current 'old standard' and re-bed them, I replaced all the lenses and then decided to replace all the gaskets, as they were old and some were damaged through trying to remove bolts that were corroded to the aluminum frames. It got fun when the gasket job started, lets say it was next to impossible, after lots of pain and suffering and lots of research, I through the towel in and went with all new portlights. They are awesome and way better looking......

David,
where did you get the replacement portlights? I just bought the gasket repair kit and plan to do the windows this winter, but may need to throw in the towel too!

I got mine at Defender, $50 cheaper than Catalina Direct. (could be b/c I hay the defender membership?) Anyways, when I replaced the gasket on the 'old standard' I couldnt close the window and latch it to save my life. With both my wife and I pushing as hard as we could we couldn't close them, that was with replaced lenses and new dogs as well, all told I spent the cost of 1 new window in the hopes of upgrading th OG's.
