These two items came with my boat. Anyone know what they are? Tile size in background is 12". The other side of the Y thing has teak vaneer on it.

Hi Tad,
The boards might be inexpensive temporary hatch boards. Before I stored indoors, I would drop similar items in, so I could take the real boards home to varnish them. As for the "Y" I haven't a clue, though it looks like some effort was put into it.

I was thinking hatch boards too, but they are not wide enough. Not even close. Mystery widens.

The boards- I haven't a clue ! The 'Y' shaped device is used to hold your front hatch open with the open end of the 'Y' pointing towards the lower or bottom portion of the hatch. We've made a few in larger sizes to hold the hatch further open.
Second thought on those boards. I'll guess that they perhaps fit in the game table area to allow for seating or storage . Just guessing by the hooking hardware on the one end.

I found one of the Y shaped devices on my boat as well. The only thing that made any sense was that it fit the nut on the steering wheel hub perfectly so concluded it was a wrench for that purpose.

While helping my neighbor with his soft bottomed dink today, he had a set of boards similar to what you have shown. So, I'll make another guess and guess that they may be floor boards for a soft bottomed dink or at least a partial set.

I'd take the old hinged boards and keep them in the garage for several years, then when the wife says to throw them out, tell her you will if she matches it by throwing something of hers out! The nice Y piece is another story. I'd go with the classy forward hatch prop and it can double as a signal...as in WHY when a power boater refuses to give right of way.

At the bottom of the Y there is what appears to be a small screw hole so it must have been screwed to something. Gary, do you have a screw hole as well in yours?

The one on my boat is identical but no idea what the small hole is for. If you can find a purpose beyond loosening the wheel nut let me know.
