Removing stanchion.

Trying to remove port side stanchion on Catalina 36, Hull 377. Can’t access underside nuts because of cabinets in salon. Suggestions? Thx.

You get to test your carpentry skills!  I don't believe there is another way in there except to remove some of the cabinetry.

I cut a round hole in the top of the cabinet, and added an access port.

Jeff;
A hole saw may be your only answer.

It's always a chalange.  I had to move the compressor and cut access hole to remove and replace the port aft gate stanchion.   It also helps to be skinned and double jointed
