Has anyone installed a remote read-out fresh water flowmeter? I'm searching online and can't seem to find one that's suitable.

Sir Bob
What are you trying to know with a flow meter? Just curious.

David,
I'm looking for a way to keep track of my water usage. I'm tired of a tank running dry during a shower.
With a flowmeter, I can reset to zero every time I switch tanks and know how much is remaining.

If you can find an accurate flow meter, thats one way of doing it. Have you thought about adding tank level sensors? All of my tanks ( fresh water, fuel and holding) are monitored. It's not cheap setting them all up but they are very accurate.

David,
I did consider tank tank monitors but decided against them due to cost as a good flowmeter is only around $45 or slightly less. It doesn't have to be spot-on accurate, just fairly close.
