Pressure Washer on Deck & Non-Skid

I already searched and found limited info thus my question; Has anyone used a pressure washer on the deck and non-skid areas?  I'm planning on using a borrowed  ~1,600 psi electric "home owner" type machine - nothing gas powered/industrial strength.  I'm wondering is it could damage the deck.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I use a power washer on my deck a couple of times a year when the birds use my boat as their bathroom while I am away for a time and their "business" gets hard. I would not use a power washer if the deck has been repainted, it may take the paint off.

I would urge you not to directly spray any through deck fitting (chainplates and the like). The high rpessure water could blast out the sealant (as happened on mine) and cause you to re-bed these points.

I just washed my boat down on Wed, from 4th Trip to Lopez Islands, I used the smallest Roybi electric pressure washer ($120 at home depot).  It worked great!!  My only desire would be for a wand extension and nozzle swivel to make cleaning the stern easier - You may not need it if you have walk thru steps.

Update:  I pressure washed the deck this past W/E.  Everything turned out fine - and clean!  (Sorry, no pics)  I wish I had at it a long time ago.  My thanks to all who responded.
