replacement cockpit speaker

Can anyone tell me where to source a replacement cockpit speaker for our 2002 Catalina 36 MKII?  One of the speakers that is under the perch seats is busted.  I can't seem to find the direct replacement.  Maybe they don't make this particular speaker anymore and I need to got with a different speaker all together.

I found a direct replacement at West Marine two years ago...

I do not have that setup on our '98. Our speakers are located in cutouts in each of the lockers on each side of the helm. Those speakers are by Poly-Planar. Model MA-4055.

Ok, I made a few phone calls and here is what I learned.

The speaker itself is a Poly-Planar MA7500.  These are readily available.  Unfortunately, I need the housing also.

The speaker is housed in a NavPod SP100 housing.  This housing is no longer available.  I even called the manufacturer and he looked around in the warehouse to see if he had one laying around and he doesn’t.

The NavPod SP100 housing has been replaced with the NavPod SP200 which houses a Bose 151 SE speaker.  This would be a nice upgrade but more than I want to spend just to "fix" one speaker.  I'll probably just replace the speaker with new and then try to repair the housing.

Thanks for the replies to get me thinking.

Sorry, didn't see the picture in your original posting - yes those are different than the ones I have mounted in the rear lazarette...

I just bought a replacement pair for my 2002 C36 MkII. They are poly-planar 5 x 7 that I have on mine. They are in a Navpod underseat box like yours. However, check the connections at the speaker. After buying a new pair I found that one of the connectors on the port speaker (the one not working) was loose or corroded. I bought mine at "TheGPSStore.com".
