Outboard Engine Crane

Has anyone installed an outboard engine crane on a catalina 36 mkII?  what brand, type, size?  where located? removable? do you use a winch?  photos

Garhauer, includes line & blocks, no need for winch.

I have the Garhauer as Stu mentions and it works fine. However, I have my radar on a mast on the starboard side of my stern and the bracket for the pulley system attaches to that ( I Remove it when I'm not using it  and store it in the cockpit locker... it hangs on two points like an external rudder on a dinghy). Don't know how it work work if you didn't have the pole.

Paul, I also have a Garhauer, mounted on the port stern rail, with base sits on a fitting on that stern swim platform seat. There is also a bracket on the stern rail. It is completely removable. No winch is necessary. We use it for a 9.9 Honda 2 cycle. Patty has no trouble using it and often refers to it as one of our best improvements. If you still need pictures, let me know and I will post them tomorrow.

I'd like to see some photos! Thinking of something similar on my boat.
