Instrument wires

I have a 95 #1474 and cannot access boat right now.  Wondering where CY bundles the extra instrument wire? Raymarine instruments came with shielded connectors so they were not cut, assume cable tied and stuffed some where.  Ideas?

My understanding is that the Catalina factory had several instrument packages over the years.  Some dealers offered instrument packages as well as some owners went the DIY route.  So, it's very difficult to say how excess cable length was handled given the variety of instruments and possible installers.

All three of my Raymarine ST60 instruments as well as the pod seem to be ubiquitous to Catalina, so I think I have a factory-installed package.  My ST60 instruments have spade lugs, so the cables are trimmed-to-length and thus very little excess.  The excess is (correctly) formed into a service loop and folded inside the instrument pod.

Chic,
Just because you see molded connectors on either end of the instrument wires, I would not assume there is a bundle of extra wire somewhere.  Those wires can be, and often are, spliced.  This past summer I finally solved a problem with my mast mounted radar, discovering a ?dealer? installed splice under the aft berth (REALLY?  Under the aft berth???).  The splice had been poorly done, the shield wires had turned to green dust, and one very fine data wire was broken.  Unless you can trace every inch of the wire, don't assume a solid, long, single wire, IMHO.
