Hi Chuck. There is a product called Marelube specifically for that. Comes in a 4 oz blue and white plastic jar. They sell it at West Marine. It works well, a little pricey as I recall. They must make it out of truffle oil.

Marelube now is also available in a syringe-like gizmo so you can inject it into the seacock while the boat is in the water (you close seacock, remove the hose, and reach down into the innards with the device). I had just recently read a review of this somewhere (perhaps Practical Sailor?) and tried it out last weekend (since we didn't haul this past winter), seemed to work well. Defender had it for about $10.
