Does anyone know of a good spot for one of these? They look like a cooler but have a compressor. I was thinking lazarette in cockpit?
I may end up keeping the oven because one of these wont fit there anyway with a stove over it.
Under chart table?

Mike,
I have 1987 MK 1 and I removed the swivel Nav seat and placed a 50 quart cooler in it's place. I placed a teak strip on the inboard and outboard side to keep it from shifting. I also attached cooler straps to keep it from moving fore and aft, but they proved unnecessary. I sail on a lake so I'm not dealing with big waves. When I need to use the Nav station, I sit on the cooler.
I'll see if I can find the pictures I took.
I hope this helps.

I thought about that location. I looked at the how the wall sloped down at a weird angle and thought it wouldn't fit. It might stick out some but I think it is doable. Time to get out the measuring tape. It still may be the best spot though. I am ok with removing the chair.

I put a 50qt dc electric cooler in the same spot and a shelf behind the cooler. A great option since I do not have to get ice and if I turn the cooler up it turns into a freezer
