I hope that everyone enjoyed Christmas as much as the admiral and I have this year!
As I was sitting here with my grandchildren I received a call from a buddy of mine who is a fellow sailor and he asked me if I was still in the market for a 135 Genoa. I indicated that I was indeed still looking for a nice used jenny. The first question that I asked him was what the length of the foot was.
Does anyone on the forum know what the dimensions of a 135 jenny would be to fit our boat??

Glenn,
With the "I" dimension being 14.33', the foot of a 135 Genny would be about 19.5'.

Time for some high school math! ;)

Because it is a triangle, and because the clew can be high or low, the foot dimension can change for any given LP. You need to find out whether it is a high clew or deck sweeper, since the length of the foot is not the measurement you have, you only have the LP. If you only have the foot length, you can "reverse engineer" the triangle dimensions to confirm if it is indeed a 135.
Have fun playing with the math. :)
