Window gaskets

My boat is now 26 years old and in need of new window gaskets. Can anyone tell me where to get the materials and how to go about the replacement?

Thanks,
Catalina has a repair kit for my aluminum framed windows in stock.
Tech support was very helpful.
Problem solved.

I need to repair another leaking window. I'm wondering if I could use butyl rubber for this, instead of 3M 4000 this time. Anyone ever tried that?

Now that I see basically how to do this, I'm wondering if I can't use butyl rubber between the window glass and the aluminum frame as well as the aluminum frame to the deck fiberglass joint.

Reason I'd like to is that the silicone seems like such a PITA, since, according to the instructions, you have to get it ALL out of that tiny u-shaped area...which I'm betting most people can't anyway.

Heck, I can't even see a way to get all the 3M 4000 from my original fix out of the BIG area (aluminum side of the aluminum-to-deck joint) due to the limited access and the little round lip at the edge of the aluminum frame. I tried with a razor per the instructions and I got most of it out, but also managed to gouge the aluminum frame a bit...so there seems to be no reasonable way to do this, not by the 3M 4000 instructions anyway.

If the butyl rubber will stick to both the aluminum and the window glass, seems like the way to go and I'll (hopefully) never have to mess with it again...which would make me very happy since this is not a fun job anyway....

...and if I'm wrong and I end up having to do this for a THIRD time, hopefully the butyl rubber will come out a lot easier than the silicone or the 3m 4000, yes?

That's what I did with one of mine. I wouldn't recommend this approach, we had a hard time getting the frame around the window again. We were fairly generous with the amount of tape, and even so it wasn't completely waterproof until I stuffed more in around the frame. The result is that we have a port that has uneven butyl tape framing the window, which is now attracting dirt. So that's up for a do over this winter
