Halyard length

I want to install a spinnaker halyard. Any suggestions as to length?
One came with the boat when I bought it (in bad shape and not sure if it was for a C36) and it is 3/8's of an inch thick and 110 ft long.

Thanks,
Steve

Mine is 7/16 and 110' - I think it could be a bit shorter but not much.

My halyard is 120' 7/16" it is a little longer than other because all my lines terminate at cockpit.

I use 120' of 3/8 inch Sta Set. I have the tall rig. It could be shorter, but I have all my halyards the same length and I may run to cockpit sometime. For now I have a rope clutch and a cleat on the mast.
