Available rail bait

Heading to San Diego this week end April 2 for a confernce on Monday. Plan to spend the week end with my 21 year old son who is going to school down there. If any of you San Diego locals are looking for crew Saturday or Sunday give me a shout I offer cold beer and tall stories. I will be staying at the Hilton Bay Front at the marina.

I believe the term you are looking for is rail meat, by the way, because our boats have a hefty beam measurement they are much faster upwind with lots of "meat" on the rail

For maximum efficiency meat is effective. Being more of a cruiser esthetics count, a favored ballast would be Windward Wahine Heinies WWH.

Well had a good weekend with my son over the weekend, weather was a bit iffy, cold and cloudy on Saterday but, it cleared to partly cloudy on Sunday.
My son and I went to Coronado and rented a Hobie Wind Rider, a quick and fun little trimaran, you sit inside the main hull kayak style and stear with your feet. Made it from Coronado to the airport and back in about 2.5 hours, a bit more wind would have allowed us to get around to point Loma but, we ran out of time.
