Cleaning the cockpit

Hi,

Just wondering if there are any special/secret tips on cleaning the seats/floor in the cockpit. Mine are looking a bit dirty and two are looking yellow. I was going to clean them with some detergent and bleach, add in some elbow grease, and hopefully it will shine like new.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I find Mister Clean Magic Erasers work well on hard to clean items.

Agreed! The magic erasers are amazing. We keep a healthy amount on board at all times. Great for scuff marks too.

An idea for the yellowing could be rust-away. Will strip any wax though.

Good luck.

I find that FSR (fiberglass stain remover) works well on stains, especially rust. It's a gel. Just dab it on, let it sit & rinse. No scrubbing.

I use Rolloff for the initial cleaning followed with FSR letting both stand for a while seems to clean everything up very well. Some areas require more effort with a stiff bristle brush.

I've used FSR for eons. Our yard also recommends "On & Off" - I bought some and it works, too.

To get into the cracks in the non-skid seats with the smaller ridges, you need to use a relatively stiff brush.

fsr is AWESOME but for the non-skid I use the non skid deck cleaners from Star Brite. When done the daecks are blazing white and clean. It goes on like liquid but foams up whem scrubbed.

Best Part does hurt strip wax like Roll off will
