I was finally inspired to post this video, taken earlier in January, after returning from a few days in Chicago, where I froze my a__ off and got sick. The video was taken on the C36 of my buddy (also John), and it was a very different ride from the other one I posted.

John,
You are a heartless SOB, don't you know that the folks on the eastern seaboard are up to the top of the knickers in snow again today.
While we are going to hit the mid 70's today with 10-15Kts of wind.
I am stuck in my office and can not take advatage of the great weather.

Steve......maybe there is a direct correlation between your last name and the weather......er....sorry.
I am writing to you from sunny, New Bern North Carolina. My wife and I are form the Midwest and the motivating factor for us relocating here was due to the weather. Now, having said that, I have not heard of a hurricane hitting your part of the country.

Nope, no huricanes, tornadoes, snow storms, humidity or big bugs. Just earthquakes, forest fires, mud slides, high housing costs and too many people who live here because thay don't like snow, humidity, tornadoes, huricanes, humidity and big bugs.

Gee, Steve, while you are freezing your a__ off, and barely able to walk or drive through the snow - never mind go sailing - I thought you would be celebrating our good fortune out here!

I am taking a quick break from the hot sun while I rebed my chainplates. It is only 74 today, but that sun is hot without a cloud in the sky.
I hope all you snowbound sailors have a quick end to winter and get to splash extra early this year.

Boy O boy, I am glad I am not living in Chicago today, Ciaro or Australia today looks better, at least it is warm there.
I hope all is well with you and spring sailing comes early this year.
I once heard of a young guy being called into to boss's office.
He was told that he was being promoted and was to open a new branch in Chicago. He responded by stating that he heard there were nothing but whores and hocky players in Chicago.
The boss states his wife was from Chicago.
The young lad had the sense to ask him what team she played for.

January and February are supposed to be our wettest months, we have had one day of rain in the last six weeks. Last weekend the temps were in the mid seventies, it was glorious but, I may ask that you guys on the east coast and north east box up some of that snow and ship it are way as we may get pretty thirsty by July and August.

Pat,
I know it is of little solice but, I July when you enjoying a balmy summer we on San Francisco Bay will be bundled up in sweaters and foul weather gear cursing the fog and twenty five knot winds while our hillsides inland are ablaze in fires.
