D.I.Y. V-Berth Sheets ?

I recently read a cruising tip in either Sail Mag or Cruising World that gave a way to make special sheets for the v-berth by sewing a top and fitted sheet together, then turning it sidways or inside out so that a "pocket" was formed. I now cannot find the magazine it was in. It may have accidently hit the circular file. Any of you handy seamstresses out there have any suggestions OR did anyone else see that tip and know which magazine it was in or at least remember how to do it? (I'm pretty sure there were other tips in the same section on making and using lee cloths.)

When I sleep alone on Caprice I take a queen size sheet, fold it in half then slide in between the folded sheet. In the morning I just slide out, roll the sheet up and store it away. Not fancy, but it works fine.
