After the Annapolis boat show and a bunch of research it looks like the 3 blade Flex-o-Fold may be one of the better solutions to reduce the drag of our fixed 3 blade and still maintain performance under power at a price point lower than going with a full feather propeller.
Has anybody installed the 3 blade folding version of this prop and had any experience postive or negative?
Many thanks!

I've had a three blade on for 9 yrs. Works fine has only failed to open once when weeds were so thick you could almost walk on water. Much smoother than the two blade I had on my C30. The 15-11 he first recomended was too much end up with either 10's or 9's,can't recall. My boat is spending this winter in Sackets Harbor so will not be visiting it to look. Chris Hansen
My 1994 Mk 1.5 had a flexofold 15/11 (two blade) when I purchased it used in 2008. The PO had installed it in 2005 and was pleased with its performance. He only used the engine briefly to get out of the slip. I had alot of overheating issues with the boat and did all the usual fixes, each of which helped some, but the problem only was resolved when I reinstalled the original fixed 3 bladed 15/9 prop. I called the flexo foldrep and he was adamant the 11" prop was the proper fit. (wrong!) It would cost about $500 to replace the blades.
I'm happy with the old prop (not a racer) and so is the engine. The flexofold is for sale.

Hello.
I have a Catalina MK2 from 92. In this moment I have a fix 3 blades propelle, but I would like to buy a new folding propelle. I would like to know best brands and size of folding propelle for my boat.
Thanks!!!
I have a 2-blade Flex-O-Fold 15x10. Love it. No issues forward or reverse. ~6 kts @ 1800 RPM.
