Quickly responding to the article on our homepage about the limited quantity of Standard Rig 150 genoas for sale at a very low price, I ordered one. I received it via UPS exactly when promised, about 1 week after order. The vendor seems reliable and honest, and the price is exceptionally low.

Larry, does it have UV cover installed? White?
Blue UV cover, Bud. Shipping was included in the price, but that was in the US. I'm not sure that shipping to Canada is covered.

I checked with Ralph and apparently these are 5.56 oz cloth, the sailmaker says they are a light air sail. Our day usually starts with a reef in the main and goes downhill from there, so that's not going to work for us. The eastern end of Lake Ontario is quickly becoming a forest of wind generators, it's not a light air sail kind of place.
Bud,
I could not imagine a 150 being anything other than a light air sail. Reefing it more than twenty five percent would distort it shape to much to be useful.
There are days when a 150 would be nice though the bulk of the time it would sit below deck taking up room in a bag on my boat. I am sure that in light air areas like the Pacifc Northwest in the summer, along the East Coast this would be a great sail.

Just heard from the sail maker and he still has two sails left at this bargain price. Please contact me for any questions or contact information for the sailmaker.
