Wecome Guests!

I just popped on to post something and I noticed that there were 3 members and 5 guests viewing the forum. Four guests were reading posts and one was searching posts. I, for one, would like to invite all you guests to come aboard. Maybe you have a 36 and like to read the tips but don't feel you have anything to say. Maybe you're thinking about a 36 and are doing some research. Either way, all of us here love our boats and would be happy to answer your questions or hear a little about your 36. So don't be shy, register and become a part of the community. As the saying goes, "come on in, the water's fine" ....and even finer on a Catalina 36!

I want to echo Mike's comment to our guests. This web site and organization is a wealth of information. It doesn't cost that much to join and we can learn from you as well.

I am one of those folks that has been lurking for the past month or so. I'm about to purchase an '85 C36 tall rig and was doing a bit of homework. Now that the owner has accepted the offer and the boat is about to be pulled for survey, I'm pretty sure I'll be in her within a week or two unless there are major problems yet to be discovered.

Nothing more to add other than I'm looking forward to the experience and learning how to best sail her in my crazy central Texas weather.

Cheers,
MZr7

Welcome Aboard MazeRat, and congratulations on your new boat! Post some pics when you get her squared away.
