Hi all,
new (old) C36. Up getting work done before sailing home. Has been a monsoon here on north fork of long island .. while hampered some of my jobs it was also helpful to see where my hatches are leaking :)
2003 c36, original hatches. Front Lewmar trapezoid and main cabin square. Definitely leaking at friction hinges and last night leaking along seal under lens. Plus the fun condensation confusing what's a leak v condensation.
hatches are super crazed and now I'm seeing several leak sources. Wondering if it's worth it to chase and reseal lens, friction hinges etc or if anyone has been through this would recommend just replacing with new? I saw the price .... though may be worth avoiding chasing my tail.
Question- how can I tell which models I have?
words of wisdom?
thanks in advance.

If the year of your boat is 2003 than it should be a MKll model.

Oh sorry- I meant how do I tell what model of lewmar hatch I have... I see a few different possibilities for 2003 mk2 and there aren't any distinctive markings in the hatches ..

www.Hatchmasters.com in Connecticut has parts and refurbishes complete hatches. Mine were leaking ( 2001 MKII) and needed rebedding, the original sealant had turned to dust.

Thanks--I'll check them out. These at the very least need rebedding which I can do but seems like every other seal in them needs replacement too.. I'll need to compare price of lens replacement/new seals etc vs just getting a new hatch. Appreciate the lead.
