Hi everyone,
I have the older Schaefer 2000 furler system and had seized bearings in the lower drum. I had the replacement drum with the improved flush holes however when I went to remove it the phillips set screws were seized and 2 had to be drilled out and consequently I had to replace the torque tube as well and unfortunately found out the hard way there is a whole new model, the 2100. Does anyone have any experience with the conversion and compatibility between the two??? Most importantly the foil seems to be smaller on my existing 2000 and wondering if there is an adapter or conversion kit for this. Schaefer hasn't been the most helpful in my quest.
