I installed a Nova Lift on my 36 MKII this week. Added a extension to lower portion and then attached to transom and pushpit rail near port stern seat. Block lines up well over engine mount. Stern railing more secure and more supportive of outboard weight. Lifting 9.9 Honda 4-Stroke. See before and after photos.

Thanks for posting this. I have been wanting to install a lift. Did you look at the Garhauer lift? I didn't know of the Nova. I will look into them. Looks a little cleaner than Garhauer's.

i looked at the Garhauer but couldn't see how i could mount it and have it lined up properly. The Nova Lift has a 4:1 pulley system which allows me to lift and lower my 100 lbs outboard fairly easily.

Did you fabricate the lower part ? Looks like you added 24 inches?
