Fuel Filter

The primary fuel filter/water separator system on my C36 has developed leaks. I am having trouble finding documentation/service information on this. Specifically, the problem is that the 3 plastic fittings on the top all appear to leak. One of the fittings is flush and has a screwdriver slot. Another smaller fitting is not flush and had a screwdriver slot. The third fitting is right in the middle of the top and seems to be designed for tightening by hand. All three leak after the pump is turned off. During operation of the pump, there is no apparent leak. Are there parts that can be serviced? Looks like replacing the entire unit is pretty simple, but don't want to go that route unless necessary.

Again, any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

It sounds as if your refering to a Racor filter/sperator. I've atached the spec sheet from Racor which shows the parts you mention as seperate part numbers so I would think they are available from a dealer. Question is -is it more practable to just replace the whole unit?

That's it! Thanks so much, Gary. Yeah, will compare repair vs. replace.
