M35 circulating pump

I believe I may have discovered an error in the Encyclopedia section of the site regarding Kubota equivalents for our Universal engines. Unable to find a replacement freshwater circulating pump for my M35 engine, I ordered a Kubota equivalent per the Encyclopedia:

M35 Circulating Pump:
Pump: Kubota #16251-73034
Gasket: Kubota #16239-73430

After receiving these parts, my mechanic reported that the pump didn't fit and the bolt holes didn't match. I ended up getting my current pump rebuilt. Now I have to return the parts less shipping and a 20% restocking fee. Buyer beware.

Mike I to found out the hard way years ago on the m35. There is a difference on what model you have. Mine is a m35a and I have bought 3 freshwater pumps from tractor smart for $100 each and they bolt right on. I presume you may have a m35b. But research what one you have so next time it will save you some extra cash for that bottle if rum.

Thanks Randy! I'll do some more investigation into my model number. I ended up having my pump rebuilt, but I'd love to have a new one waiting in the wings.
