Hi,
We have had some leaks in the boat (C375) for a while, but have put it down to several other causes. But, now after spending the last few days on board, in some really wet conditions, I think I have identified the causes (and there is more than one, which made it difficult to identify.
So here goes the first one.
Water appears to be getting in through a leaky genoa track. During really heavy rainfall, I noticed water dripping from out of one of the blanking plugs underneath the window sill. I removed this plug and the ones on either side. The other ones were dry, but this one has a constant stream of water running down the bolt inside. Once the rain stops, I will see if I can identify whats happening up on deck.
What was also interesting, the washers on the bolts (both flat and spring) are loose - they are not hard up against the inside of the deck. So I am not sure if they should be tightened, or if there is something else that is holding the bolts off the deck (some sort of sleeve?).
As the boat is only 9 months old (and has leaked since new), I will be contacting the dealer to get him to address the issue.
But, have any other 375 owners experienced anything similiar?
I will start another topic for the other leak.
Thanks
Simon
