I am assuming I need a new Fuel Tank Sending Unit for my 2007 MkII 36. It has a metal fuel tank. I followed the suggested troubleshooting guide and ruled out everything but the sender unit (fuel gauge checks out ok, pink sending wire okay, no short etc) My question: is this the sending unit I want to purchase?

I replaced mine with [SIZE=3][COLOR=#0000ff][FONT=Arial]TELFEX FUEL SENDER- UNIVERSAL [/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][FONT=Arial][SIZE=3][COLOR=#0000ff]# 302813[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
You can adjust the float (very easy to do). I either purchased it from Defender or West Marine, can't remember which. Cost was $37.
