Is it recommend to fill the fuel filters before reinstalling them or is it better to run the fuel in using the fuel pump?

It depends on what engine you have, some of the newer ones are "self-bleeding." We fill our filter with fuel injector cleaner. See: [url]http://c34.org/bbs/index.php/topic,2884.0.html[/url]
