Hi,
While reviewing the requirements for different racing catagories, I think the cabin door on the 375 would need to be replaced with washboards for ocean racing. Now the doors just lift off, and you could add some stainless washboard holders (not sure what the correct term is), and make up some boards. But then could not use the door.
Then I looked at the doorway molding, and realised that the factory could have molded in a slot to take the washboards. This would allow either the door or washboards.
Anybody have any suggestions on other ways of addressing the washboard issue?

On our previous C320, we basically did the reverse of what you are contemplating. We went from the factory washboard to doors. I fashionned a removable door arrangement similar to the "Zarcor" door. On the C320, there is a vertical stainless strip screwed on each side of the door way. The hinges were installed on top of the strips. This way the doors would hinge into the washboard slot when closed. To use washboard, open the doors, lift off the hinge then slide washboards in place.
A set of these strips on the C375 would let you use washboards. The present hinged door setup would have to go.
I dont see this as being very difficult, but I did make a cheap plywood mock-up and had to go back and forth to my shop quite a few times to get it just right.
The attached picture is from Zarcor web site.
