Over the past few years my buzzer has transitioned to more of a cricket sound with a soar throat when I am activating the glow plugs. Neither Catalina Direct or Advanced Auto Parts carry replacements. Any ideas for a source?

Here's one that I believe is a suitable replacement - https://us.rs-online.com/product/icc-intervox/brp4535s-12-c/70115826/
When mine died several years ago and they were out of the 12 volt version so I went with the 24 volt one - https://us.rs-online.com/product/icc-intervox/brp4535s-24-cd/70115827/?m.... It worked fine. The only diffrence is that it's very loud compared to the 12 volt version.
Alarm Module Dual Tone Engine Panel (catalinadirect.com)
I replaced mine with this one a few years ago which looks like the one suggested. 24V is maximum per CD and what Catalina used in their panels. It is way louder than the original. Also price is lower if the same.

Replaced mine with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B888QI6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_...
I have also been getting an intermittent chirping noise from the alarm. Have wondered if the oil pressure switch was going bad, so replaced that. That seemed to solve part of the problem. I just ordered a new alarm from CatalinaDirect so they do have them in stock. Of course, much more than the ones you might find on Amazon or autoparts stores. Keep us posted as to what you ended up doing.

I went with Catalina Direct. Our buzzer actually serves two alarm functions- there's one for warning (I believe for low oil pressure) when you first turn the ignition key. It's also activated I believe, for an over-heated engine.
The buzzer contains one (+) terminal and two (-) terminals, one for each of the sensors.
I searched the internet for the P/N and for some reason, only buzzers with two terminals popped up, claiming to be the identical part number but obviously they weren't. Hence, we went with CD for an exact match.
