We used Cetol on the same item on our C34 and it worked great. Used only the standard Cetol and did NOT finish with the Cetol Marine Gloss. We touched-up one year and added one coat the next year. Looked super, wore well and was not slippery. Great project to take home during the winter!

Used Cetol for a number of years. finally replaced the wood and never intend to use Cetol again. I figured out that the teak was cheaper than 10 years worth of Cetol and that is not counting the endless hours it takes to remove Cetol when it inevitably fails.

Why have teak if you use Cetol, it is basically a form of brown paint.

We have used Cetol Lite for about 5 years with good results. The "Lite" version is not as orangey-brown as the original and has a satin finish. We add a fresh coat annually and it still looks like teak

I used Cetol up north in Connecticut for years with good results. It lasted all season long. After I moved to sunny SW Florida I found it didn't last a month so I switched to Varnish on my teak. After eight coats it lasts a year.
