Stu, goes to show you where there is a will, there is a way! Actually I replaced the riser on my Cat 30 with standard pipe. Hardest part was getting the right elbow and orientation for the raw water return.:o

Haha. So two years from now the next owner of this boat will show up here complaining what a hack job the P/O did on his boat! I especially like the idea of using liquid gasket in lieu of properly fitted pieces. And the advice to open and close the "through hole" before and after the project was good too.
I had a company build me a new riser for 100$ they did a better job than Catalina .I believe the company is unicraft in bellingham Washington.There sticker is on the unit Iam just not on the boat
