Different water pressure at galley faucet and head faucet

Hi,

I'm observing different water pressure at galley faucet and head faucet.  At the galley faucet, the water comes out in a slow stream with the water pump continually working intermittently (on/off).  At the head faucet the water comes out in a full stream with the water pump working continously.  Would like the galley faucet to work like the head faucet.

Has anyone else come across this issue before?

Wondering if there are different water pumps for each faucet. I don't have access to the user manual at the moment to look up the schematics.

Thanks,
Jeremy

There is only one pump. One explanation is that there could be a partial blockage in the galley sink faucet or line. This impedes the flow, creating back pressure, which shuts the pump off. Once that pressure decreases, the pump activates again and the cycle repeats itself.

Turn off the water pump power, then disconnect the water hose from below the sink that is near the water tank. Have someone else turn on the power to the pump temporarily and place your finger in front of the hose to block the water flow. Did you get much water after you ease off on the hose?
There may be a collapsed hose on the way to the sink.
Also check if the screen at the end of the faucet needs cleaning.
You did not mention if it is the cold or the hot water flow.

David and Haro - thanks for the suggestions - will try them out.
It happens with both the cold and hot water flow.

Pull the screen as where water comes out of the faucet (it screws off). And try again.  Your aireator  is probably filled with stuff

Agree with Les. I had this problem and my aerator was full. I ended up replacing mine because they were only about $5. For what it is worth, the size on my MK1 was 15/16 inch. Good luck
