I just brushed off what was loose, then put a damp sponge on top of what remained for about 15 minutes. Then wiped it off best I could with a wet sponge. I had quite a bit on mine, and of course that was the day I'd planned on renewing the waterproofing. There was some on the bimini that I couldn't reach. A little time and a convenient rainstorm or 2 took care of it.

I had some "thin stuff" that baked on for a few months. It came off easily with some liquid dishwashing detergent and allowed to soak. Two applications, a scotch guard rub and a hose job did it. Now ready to fold things away for the winter

Thanks for the link, Gary. Sometimes it helps to see what the manufacturer actually has to say.
I noted on their Stain Chart, which contains specific recommendations, that they include: beer, blood, lipstick, suntan lotion, urine, vomit, and wine. Who says sailors don't know how to party?

They missed rum though. That seems a serious oversight!
