Racers - or anyone else for that matter. In the absence of a big-ass nav pod on the helm, where do you mount your instruments? The original speed/depth on my boat are just to the right of the companionway, but this spot is covered by crew 80% of the time, more than that when cruising too.
Putting new instruments in. I don't like them below the companionway, but I am not springing for huge displays and mast mounting either. I need to see them from the rail and would like my trimmers to see them too. Thinking about maybe some sort of bracket just aft of the traveller. Suggestions?
