What goes here?

I am doing my spring projects to get the boat ready for the season and I thought I'd ask a question of the group.

The bottom tip out storage bin across from the head door, what do "you" store in there?

I don't have anything in there now and I have no idea what to put in such a small space.

Hi Bill, I keep my 3 winch handles, two long, one short in that location when not in use.
Hope to see you in early July on our way to the Door Peninsular.

Great question! For me, sail ties, a reel of VHS tape (for main sail tell-tails), and a turkey baster (for sucking up bilge rain water).

That's where my baster is stored as well! I also have extra blades for the solor vent in the head. Not much room in there for much else.

Turkey Baster! What a great idea for getting the last water out of the bilge. I've been using a bailing sponge. And now I know where to keep it, too.

My 5 year old keeps about 25 Hot Wheels in there.

Great Question

I keep two 12" fluorescent lights (a 12 volt and a mains -240 volt here) but may move my hot wheels there.

What about the small bottom drawer in the aft berth cabinet?

I love the baster idea but I have decided to pass on any invitation to dine on your boats for Thanksgiving dinner!
