rubrail cleaning

i was told to use acetone for the cleaning of our rubrail for the Catalina 380. It seems like it doesn't work as easy . Does anybody has another idea on which product to use ??? Thanks for all the info . M.Bernard

Acetone requires elbow grease. I used to use acetone on our fenders. Just learned a trick from a dock mate: brush & roller cleaner from Ace Hardware. Lots easier. Use Collinite Fleetwax when you're done for the rubrail. Don't wax your fenders.
