Kind of off the regular topics, but for anyone located in LI Sound or the vicinity, our harbor (Atlantic Highlands, NJ) is having the best fire works show second only to NYC on July 4th, a Friday. If your looking for somewhere to go for the weekend, come on down,. The town's Fireman's Fair is in the harbor all week with the fireworks on the 4th.

You can sit on your boat and have a front row seat from a mooring or anchoring at the east  end of the harbor... and , of course, stop up at our club on the second floor of the Shore Casino in the harbor to say hello. A number of posters from this site are homeported in Atlantic Highlands.
