Terrible news.
The post that Ray linked to has info for those who want to send a donation. Rodd apparently had a stroke.
For those who don't know, Rodd (alias Maine Sail) is a former C36 owner who -- both in his postings here and on his website (Marinehowto.com) -- has helped innumerable sailors with technical advice (and dispelled many b.s. myths).
In case you haven't heard, Maine Sail (some people call him Rodd Collins) had a medical event last week that left us all with more questions than answers. I just got off the phone with his brother and we finally have some details to share.
