Looking for Marina Suggestions in SW FL

I am preparing to move my boat to the Southwest Coast of Fl. Somewhere between St. Pete and Ft. Meyers.

My wife and I are coming to the NOODS in St. Pete on Thursday 2/13, head to Ft. Meyers on Sunday and working my way back to the St. Pete airport to fly out on the following Thursday 2/20.

I would appreciate marina suggestions from any C36/375 members and would enjoy meeting members in the local areas.

Please email me at Marc@alberts-inc.com

Thanks,

Marc Nachman

It sounds like you are flying in to watch the NOOD but planning to leave your boat permanently?

Regatta Pointe, Twin Dolphin are in the Manatee river a bit south of St. Pete. Very nice marinas. We are talking pool jacuzzi, work out rooms, laundry, multiple restaurants - you get the picture. :)

The St. Pete Muni also very nice and the location is awesome in downtown St. Pete. The Harborage is also nice but a bit of a walk to the activities. Short bike ride if you have one. It has a pool.

Gulf Port is a just a tad off the beaten path but a bit quieter and has a really quaint downtown.

There are others but those are the ones the locals tend to stay at.
