Raw water throuhull leaking

While on the hard for bottom painting and raw water through-hull closed, I noticed that water was slowly leaking out of the raw water through-hull at the bottom of the boat.
I opened the valve and looked up inside the opening with a flash light. I can see that a rubber ring is out of place.
C36, 1999 MKII. Does anyone have a source for it.
It has 4 screws on the top and a 90 degree turn on the top.
I believe it is a 1" through-hull, Marlone I Full-Flow
Thanks for your help.

UPDATE: The leaking stopped after I opened the seacock and filled the strainer with fresh water and rinsed the hose and the seacock. Then I closed the seacock and filled the strainer with water. There was no more leaking.
I also noticed similar leaking from other boats that were just removed from the water. Their leaking also stopped after a day on the hard.
I am glad I did not rush into it and remove the existing seacock. The boatyard estimate  was half a boat buck.

Hello, I noticed a pin hole leak from the top of our raw water thru hull late last fall. By slightly adjusting the handle it would stop. When our marina staff checked it out over the winter (on the hard), the thru hull had deteriorated and the ball was not fully closing.
A like for like replacement has been installed: Forespar Marelon Full Flow Seacock $ 1" Mushroom Thru-Hull.
Google indicates they are available at Defender, West Marine etc.

It begs the question should we be replacing our 20 year old marelon thru-hulls soon....before they start deteriorating...

Hi Bill,
My through-hull is flush compared to mushroom type.
Mushroom type is secured with a nut inside and is independent of the seacock.
The flush type, the seacock is what secures the through-hull.
I am apprehensive in trying to remove the seacock from inside as it may rotate the through-hull and start to leak.
It seems like mushroom type is the best solution as I read that it has thicker walls.
Can you share the model number or the part number of the one you installed? If you have an image of the seacock it would help.
Thanks for your help.

I had a recent drip around the bottom of the seacock valve handle in the open position of my 1999 Catalina 36.  I ordered an exact replacement from CatalinaDirect for $147.  I then called Forespar to get some installation advise since the boat is in the water. They told me the leak is common for this age and from the handle o-rings. They had a $7.95 Pro-Series Handle Replacement O-ring Kit. I have since installed the two new o-rings which also came with the recommended Mar-lube grease and all dripping has stopped. I returned the seacock.
