Adjusting the water line with lead weights

I have a 1" water line problem my starboard side. I am tired of barnacles. I was thinking of placing lead weights inside the boat on the port side to balance this problem. When I stand about galley area and I am 200 lbs it starts to solve the problem. Any ideas? I do have a Honda 2000 in the port side area near the regenerator unit. I also use Lifeline (2) 4D Batteries and a starter battery on the stern side near the fuel tank.
I usually come up with good ones!

Stephen, to clarify...

Do you have a 1 inch problem on starboard, and therefore a 1 inch problem on portside? That is, 1 " high on one side = 1 " low on the other. If so, you have only a 1/2 "problem.

The cubby holes (storage areas) outboard of the salon seating, both sides, being the farthest outboard on the entire boat, might be an area to look at. Some zip-lock bags of lead shot placed deep in these portside storage areas might easily and cheaply solve a half-inch - or even a 1 " - leveling issue. Make sure that the items you store in the starboard cubbies are potato chips, saltine crackers, and other low density stuff, and you keep your s/s hardware, AA batteries, and other high density items in the portside cubbies.

Before taking any action whatever, I would suggest you verify that the deck is indeed not level. To do that I'd lay a long straight edge across, say, the companion way, and then use a laser level to check it. Or a bubble level would work, too. Don't trust your mast as a vertical reference, as that may be wonky. And don't trust your hull waterline paint job, as it might be off. Measure for yourself from finite, original references.
