At the 2012 U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis, we saw a display of a dry bilge system that we had never seen before. It was NOT the Bilge Sentry, the "Dry Bilge System" or the Arid Bilge System. It had a light green-colored pickup material that was rope-like that picked up water via capillary action.
We have been unable to locate the literature on this system that we picked up at the Show. Also unable to find it through extensive Google searching or the exhibitor list for the Show. Did anyone else attend that Show that has the literature or remembers the manufacturer or dealer?
Thanks in advance for any info!

I'll be interested in this as well, as I'm considering an Arid Bilge to deal with all the rainwater that comes down my mast.
Do you happen to remember the rough pricing of this mysterious new system?

Sorry, no specific price comes to mind. Obviously more than a bilge pump but it seemed as reasonable as anything else we buy for our boats!

Quote from an article I found on the web (http://www.powerandmotoryacht.com/maintenance/how-keep-your-bilge-odor-free):
"Everything has a drawback, and the Dry Bilge Machine's is cost: Retail prices range from $1,880 to $6,960"

Bud, this quote is actually about the Arid Bilge, where the price does range, based on how large a machine you get, and how many pickups. For the basic, nano2 machine, with one pickup, it runs ~$1400 (another ~$200 if you want a second pickup). We would never need anything more than that for a C36...
