This is the start of the annual Gulfport, Mississippi to Pensacola, Florida race the week after fathers day. We start at noon on Friday and finish some time Saturday.
Enterprise on a very calm, hot August day on the Chesapeake.

I think I counted 23 onboard before they winched me up the mast.
We are anchored in 135' watching the Blue Angles.
It has been one of the nicest/warmest summers on record in Seattle.

Anchored bow and stern in Coches Prietos on the south side (backside) of Santa Cruz Island, part of the newest National Park "Channel Islands National Park"

Beautiful Fry's Harbor taken from above the cove on the north side (front side) of Santa Cruz island - a C350 is astern of us in the anchorage. Evening downslope winds are the reason we are anchored bow-to-shore in this cove, typical of many coves on this island. This cove was the quarry of the rocks used for Santa Barbara harbor's breakwater in the 1925+/-.
