I just bought a 1992 Cat 36, and when I was taking everything apart getting to know the boat, I noticed it had termites underneath. The surveyor didn't mention anything about this. Is this something that I can legally go back with in any way since I just purchased it?
If this is not possible to do, how do I determine the extent of the damage without dropping the cost of what I just paid for the boat?
How did you fair with this project? Just found a few yesterday, crushed 'em, but thinking back to when I first started cleaning the boat when we bought it a few months ago, and there were definitely more signs of termites.
